Our Sages relate that when the Holy One, blessed be He, wished to give the Torah* to the children of Israel, He said to Moshe*: "Address yourself first to the women, for they show greater eagerness in the fulfillment of Mitzvot* and they will guide their children toward the Torah."
Thus, the generation of the giving of the Torah received a good education and, when gold was collected to make the golden calf, the women firmly refused to give their contribution. Then, shortly after, when the children of Israel brought their offering for the construction of the Sanctuary, the women were the first to offer their contributions.
Parents! Fathers and mothers!
King Shlomo*, the wisest of all men, says that "the wisdom of women builds their house, while the resignation of their hands destroys it."
Every young girl, every little girl is called to build a Jewish home when she grows up. And it is upon her that its perpetuity depends or, what Hashem forbid, its destruction.
Now, it is incumbent upon you, parents, to prepare her to assume this fundamental role. You bear the responsibility for the future of your daughter, for the house she must build.
So that you may give your daughter the education she needs, in order to set out on the path leading to a life of material and spiritual happiness,
to bring to your daughter and your granddaughter all the knowledge she will need to carry out this mission,
to give her the solid foundations constituted by the faith of all Israel,
so that she may truly be a Jewish girl, bound to her faith, to her Torah and to the tradition of our ancestors,
The Merkaz Leinyonei Chinuch* has founded the Beis Rivka* and Beis Sarah* school network.
Parents! Send your daughter to the Beis Rivka or Beis Sarah school in your neighborhood.
Men and women! Come to the aid of the Merkaz Leinyonei Chinuch in its mission of establishing and developing its school network. Thus, we will have the certainty that its students will be among the builders of the new generation, a generation healthy materially and spiritually, of which the people of Israel will be proud. [2]

רז"ל מספרים (שמ"ר פכ"ח) כשביקש הקב"ה ליתן תורה לישראל אמר למשה: אמור לנשים תחלה - הן מזדרזות במצות - שיהיו מנהיגות בניהן לתורה.
ולכן - ע"י חנוך הראוי שהי' אז - מצינו בדור ההוא של מ"ת אשר כשקבצו זהב לעשית העגל לא רצו הנשים להשתתף בזה בשום אופן - אבל, כשזמן קצר אח"ז, נתנו בנ"י נדבתם לבנין המשכן היו הנשים הראשונות להביא לבנין המשכן,
הורים! אבות ואמהות!
שלמה המלך - החכם מכל האדם אמר (משלי יד, א) חכמות נשים בנתה ביתה ואולת בידי' תהרסנו.
כל בת וילדה - היא העתידה לבנות, כשתגדל, בית בישראל. ובה תלוי קיום הבית או, ח"ו, הריסתו.
אבל להכין אותה למילוי תפקיד היותר חשוב זה - עליכם, הורים, מוטל הדבר. ועל שכמכם כל האחריות בעד עתידה של בתכם ועתידו של ביתה אשר עלי' לבנות אותו.
ולעזור לכם לתת לבתכם חנוך הראוי הדרוש לה למצוא את דרכה דרך הישר בחיים מאושרים ברוח וגשם
כדי להמציא לבתכם, בת בתכם וכו' את כל הידיעות הדרושות לה למילוי תפקידה
כדי להעמידה על יסודות חזקים של ה"אני מאמין" של כל עם ישראל
כדי להטביע עלי' חותם בת ישראל הקשורה לדתה תורתה ומסורת אבות
לתכלית זו נתייסדו ע"י ה"מל"ח" בתי הספר "בית רבקה - בית שרה".
הורים! ראו אשר בתכם תבקר בביה"ס ב"ר או ב"ש אשר בשכונתכם.
אנשים ונשים ! עזרו את ה"מל"ח" בעבודתו, עבודת התיסדות והרחבת רשת ביה"ס שלו ואזי בטוחים אנו אשר בעהשי"ת יהיו תלמידות ביה"ס האלו המה מהבונות דור הצעיר, דור בריא בגו"ר, דור אשר בו עם ישראל יתפאר.

מגוכתי"ק. מתחיל משנת תש"ב, והולך ומוסיף בשנה שלאח"ז, יסד המל"ח כו"כ בתי ספר לבנות "בית רבקה - בית שרה" (ראה לעיל אגרת לו ובהנסמן בהערות שם). הנוסח שלפנינו נכתב בלה"ק ע"מ לתרגמו לאנגלית, להדפיסו כמנשר ולהפיצו בישראל. אגרות שנכתבו באנגלית לא נדפסים בכרך שלפנינו, אך כאן שנמצא המקור שנכתב בלה"ק, נדפס בלשונו המקורי. וכעין זה גם לקמן אגרות קא. קכג. קכד. קסח.
