Greetings and blessings,

I was pained to learn, incidentally, that you are not in good health and find yourself in the hospital. I await your good news, and I wish to know that you are doing better.

You had the merit to be a student of the Lubavitch yeshiva*, to find yourself in the luminous presence of the Rebbe Rashab* and of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, for many years. So that your health may improve, you must, in my humble opinion, immediately commit yourself to teach Chassidus* publicly, on Shabbos, and at least a second time, on a weekday. And it does not matter how many people will participate in this shiur*, or what is the level of their knowledge.

Moreover, our holy masters underscored that the neshamos* of the listeners perceive Chassidus*[1]. And it possesses also another quality. It purifies the atmosphere, which, when it is pure in a certain place, even of very reduced dimension, reflects back upon the entire world.

In attaching yourself to the etz chaim*[2], you will reveal yourself as the channel that will strengthen your vitality and improve your state of health, in the most literal sense, physically.

I extend to you my blessing for a refuah sheleima*, and I await your good news.

The Lag BaOmer* kuntres*, which has just appeared, has been sent to you separately, with the letter that accompanies it[3].

נצטערתי לשמוע - במקרה - שאינו בטיב הבריאות ונמצא בבית החולים, ואקוה לשמוע בשו"ט מהטבת בריאותו.

ולפע"ד כיון שזכה להתחנך בישיבת תומכי תמימים ליובאוויטש ולהיות במחיצת האור של כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב נ"ע וכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר כמה וכמה שנים, הנה יקח על עצמו תיכף להטבת בריאותו ללמוד דא"ח ברבים, ביום הש"ק ולכה"פ עוד יום אחד בימות החול, ולא יתחשב כלל אם רב יהי' מספר השומעים או מעט, וגם לא יתחשב עם מדת הבנתם.

ובפרט שכפי שקבלנו מנשיאנו ורבותינו הק' הנה תורת החסידות הערן די נשמות פון די הערער, ועוד סגולה נפלאה שהיא - תורת החסידות - מזככת את האויר, וכאשר האויר נזדכך במקום אחד אפילו מצומצם, הרי בד"מ פועל על האויר של כל העולם כולו, וע"י תוספת חיזוק ההתקשרות באילנא דחייא הרי בטח יהי' זה הצנור לתוספת חיות והטבת בריאות כת"ר גם כפשוטו בגשמיות.
