To the Rav, distinguished chassid* who has yiras Shamayim*, of multiple accomplishments, descendant of a holy lineage, Rav Yitzchak Meir HaKohen[1], Minister of Social Affairs[2],

Greetings and blessings,

I sent you, this day, the following telegram:

"Following my letter, I am scandalized to learn that the religious front[3] has been dissolved. The HaPoel HaMizrachi[4] blames certain parties. Now, it is certain that if the parties would renounce their political interests, this front could come into being. And its existence is necessary not only for the community, but also for each party in particular.

I have good hope that, at this decisive moment, each party will become aware of the responsibility that falls upon it vis-à-vis the community and that it will allow the constitution of this front.

With my blessing and in the hope that Hashem will take pity on us."

The HaPoel HaMizrachi claims to have made significant efforts and, through the fault of other parties, to have been prevented from constituting this united front. Nevertheless, it does not specify which are the parties it incriminates. In any event, you find yourself on the spot and you must therefore know the situation.

I have good hope that, on your side, you will gather all your strengths to constitute this united front. I thank you in advance for the good news that you will give me in this matter.

היום שלחתי לכת"ר שי' מברקה וזה לשונה:

"בהמשך למכתבי נבהלתי לשמוע מהפרת החזית הדתית. הפועל המזרחי מאשים מפלגות מסוימות. בודאי אם המפלגות יוותרו על רווחים מפלגתיים תתאפשר הקמת החזית המאוחדת המוכרחת לא רק בשביל הכלל אלא גם לכל אחת המפלגות. תקותי חזקה שבשעה מכרעת כזו תכיר כל מפלגה באחריותה לגבי הכלל ותביא להקמת החזית.

בברכה המצפה לרחמי שמים".

הפועל המזרחי טוען שעשו מאמצים עליונים ובאשמת מפלגות מסוימות לא הצליחו ליצור חזית מאוחדת. הגם שאינם פורטים בשם המפלגות ה"מסוימות", אבל כת"ר בטח יודע המצב על אתר.

והנני מקוה כי כת"ר מצדו ישתדל בכל מאמצי כוחותיו להביא לפועל ענין החזית המאוחדת, ות"ח למפרע בעד הבשורות הטובות שיודיעני בזה.
