By the grace of Hashem,

First day of Rosh Chodesh Adar 5712,

Brooklyn,

I bless and greet you,

I received belatedly your letter, in which you announce to me the celebration of your marriage on 18 Teves.

I wish to express my brachah*, a brachah of mazel tov, mazel tov, that it be in a good and successful hour, that you establish a Jewish home, founded upon Torah and mitzvos according to the explanations of Chassidus.

With my brachah of mazel tov, mazel tov,

N.B.: You conclude your letter expressing the hope of becoming still more strongly attached. Our Sages say, as you know, that "all is in the hands of Heaven except yiras Shamayim*"[1], which is delivered into the hands of man. You therefore have the possibility of intensifying your commitment, of adopting all the practices instituted by my father-in-law, the Rebbe. It is in this way that one comes to be attached.

Such are the keilim* that elicit and allow one to internalize the brachos* of Hashem, for the satisfaction of all needs, material and spiritual.

באיחור זמן נתקבל מכתבו בו מודיע אשר נשואין שלו יהי' (הי') ביום ח"י טבת,

והנני בזה להביע ברכתי ברכת מזל טוב מזל טוב, ושיהי' בשעה טובה ומוצלחת ויבנו בית בישראל על יסודי התורה והמצוה כמבואר בתורת החסידות.

נ"ב: במה שמסיים במכתבו, בתקוה כי אוכל להתקשר ביתר שאת, הנה ידוע פסק רז"ל שהכל בידי שמים חוץ מיראת שמים שזהו בידי אדם, ובמילא היכולת בידו להוסיף אומץ בכל הענינים ולהחזיק בכל התקנות של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע אשר זהו הדרך להתקשרות ואלו הם הכלים להמשכת וקבלת ברכותיו הק' בכל המצטרך בגו"ר.
