and devotes himself to communal needs,

Greetings and blessings,

I have received your letter of erev Pesach*. You ask me about the Oholei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch network [2]. I wrote on this matter some time ago to Aguch* [3], in order to establish as quickly as possible schools forming a non-affiliated stream. You no doubt know what has already been done in this direction on the spot.

You ask me whether girls should also attend the Oholei Yosef Yitzchak schools, and whether there should also be a kindergarten. In principle this is indeed a good initiative, but for the proper order of things one must not undertake it right now.

When the first stage has been completed, the second will be put into operation, that is, the kindergarten and the girls' school. Nevertheless, if it is certain that the second stage will not interfere with the first, both should be introduced jointly.

קבלתי מכתבו מערב חג הפסח, ובנוגע לשאלתו בענין הרשת דאהלי"י, הנה זה מכבר כתבתי לאגו"ח בזה לזרזם בענין הארגון דבתי ספר דזרם בלתי זרמי, ובטח כבר ידוע לו על אתר מהנעשה בזה.

ב) בדבר שאלתו אם ילמדו באהל"יי גם ילדות, ואם יתעסק גם בגן ילדים, הנה בפרינציפ נכון הדבר, אבל מפני סדר העבודה אין כדאי לע"ע, וכאשר שלב הראשון יתחזק אז יתחילו בשלב השני היינו בענין גן לידים וילדות, ואם כבר הענין באופן כזה שלא יפריע השלב השני להראשון יש להתחיל גם בזה...
