To Miss Rachel [1],

Blessings and greetings,

I received with pleasure your letter dated after Pesach*, in which you inform me that your pupils have already begun to daven*, and you request a blessing for them.

You no doubt know what numerous sefarim* explain — that every Jew, and especially a child, is precious to Hashem, like an only son to his parents. It is therefore certain that Hashem will grant them blessing and success in all that pertains to them.

Those who teach children take on a sacred mission and therefore have a great merit. They must do everything in their power to make these little children pure and effective vessels, so as to contain the blessings of Hashem.

In your case in particular, you must strive to implant in them practices that foster yiras Shamayim*. They must therefore, for example, wear a yarmulke*, a tallis katan*, recite carefully the Modeh Ani [2], the berachos* [3], the berachos over food, and the Shema Yisrael*. By doing so, you will surely know success with these children. And this will reveal blessing and success for all who lend their assistance to this sacred task.

ברכה ושלום!

לחג הפסח ,שנחגוג בתוך כלל ישראל בימים אלה ,רצוני לברך את כל

החברות באגודת הנשים ומשפחותיהן] ,ב[פסח כשר ושמח.

ודאי ידוע לכולן מה שהמדרש מספר ,שיציאת מצרים היתה בזכות

הנשים הצדקניות שבדור ההוא ,וזכותן התבטאה בכך שחנכו דור יהודי,

בנים ובנות.

וכך גם בגאולה המיוחלת שכולנו מקוים שתבוא ע״י משיח צדקנו

במהרה בימינו ,הדבר תלוי במדה רבה גם בהנהגה של נשים יהודיות בכל

מקום שיהודים נמצאים ,והעיקר ע״י השתתפותן בחינוך ילדים ,נגם[ של

ילדיהן וגם לסייע לאחרים לחנך את הדור הצעיר החדש בדרך התורה ומצוות.

אגודת הנשים שלכן שנוסדה במיוחד כדי לתמוך במוסדות שנוסדו ע״י

חמי כ״ק אדמו״ר זצוקללה״ה נבג״מ זי״ע הולכים בדרך זו ,של תורה

ומצוות ,תקותי שאגודת נשים זו תגדל ועבודתכן תהי׳ בהצלחה בגשמיות

ותביא פירות טובים ברוחניות ,והשם יתברך יברך את כל החברות

והפעילות והמנהלות בברכה והצלחה בעניניהן הפרטיים.
