By the grace of Hashem,

1st day of Rosh Chodesh Iyar 5712,

Brooklyn,

To the directors of the yeshivah*, in Lod,

upon whom Hashem will bestow long life,

Greetings and blessings,

You have surely received in their time my preceding letters, and you will reply to them.

We spoke yesterday, erev Rosh Chodesh Iyar, about the vocational school [1] with the representative of the Joint [2] here itself ... There is good hope that from here the leadership in the Holy Land will be prompted to extend its assistance to the fullest extent possible.

Obviously, what I wrote you some time ago remains valid. I also indicated orally to the rav*, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav E. Wolf [3], that this school must not be in Lod but in the Kfar [4]. Furthermore, electricity and radio will not be taught there, but rather printing and carpentry. I gave the reason to Rav E. Wolf.

מכתביי הקודמים בטח נתקבלו בעתם, ויענו עליהם,

ובהמשך לענין בית ספר ללמוד מלאכה, הנה דברו תמול, ער"ח אייר, עם ב"כ הדזוינט כאן... יש לקוות שמכאן ג"כ יאיצו בהנהלה דאה"ק ת"ו לסייע עד כמה שאפשר.

מובן אשר בתקפו עומד מ"ש במכתבי מכבר ואמרתי ג"כ בע"פ להרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א עוסק בצ"צ וכו' מוהר"א שי' וואלף, שבית ספר הנ"ל צריך להיות לא בלוד אלא בכפר וכו', ולא יהי' במקצוע של עלעקטרי ראדיא וכיו"ב, אלא דפוס נגרות וכו', וכמו שאמרתי טעמי ונמוקי להרה"ח הר"א שי' וואלף כנ"ל.
