Greetings and blessings,

I received your letter in its time, with your contribution to maos chittin*[1] for Kollel Chabad, which was enclosed.

I also read with pleasure that you are pained at not being able to give as much tzedakah* as you would have wished. You surely meditate on what we say in the Ashrei prayer[2], "He fulfills the will of those who fear Him."

Consequently, I am hopeful that Hashem, considering your desire to maintain your positive practices — in this case that of giving tzedakah* and performing other good deeds — will help you and grant you the opportunity for it. I wish for you to do so in joy and in good health.

With my blessing to receive the Torah with joy and depth,

שימח אותי לקרוא במכתבו ,שאכפת לו על שאין לו אפשרות לתת

לצדקה כפי שהי׳ רוצה ,בטח מתבונן במה שאנו אומרים בתפילה -באשרי

-רצון יראיו יעשה ,שהקב״ה ממלא את הרצון של אלו שהם יראיו ,ולכן

הנני מקוה ,שהקב״ה בראותו את רצונו להמשיך במנהגיו הטובים בצדקה

מאחל לו שיעשה זאת מתוך שמחה ובריאות הנכונה.
