Greetings and blessings,
I noted with pleasure the remarks you made in studying chapter 27 of Iggeres HaKodesh*. You ask me what my feeling is.
I have in my possession a kuntres*[1], ready to be published, that deals with going to the tziyun* of a tzaddik*[2]. One will find in it that chapter, the explanation on visiting the tziyun* of a tzaddik* by the Mitteler Rebbe*, a maamar* of the Tzemach Tzedek*, and another by my father-in-law, the Rebbe, devoted to this subject, as well as a responsum of the Maharil of Yanovich[3] on the possibility for Kohanim* to go to Haditch[4].
In this kuntres*, I am also including commentaries on this chapter of Iggeres HaKodesh* that will answer your question. It is difficult to renew what was done previously and to reproduce these explanations here. If the publication of this kuntres* were delayed, my commentaries may perhaps be communicated to you, in order to satisfy you.

... נהניתי לקרות במכתבו הערות שלו בעת למדו אגה"ק סי' כ"ז ומ"ש חוו"ד בזה, הנה מוכן אצלי לדפוס קונטרס השייך לעניני השתטחות היינו קונטרס שבו יבואו: אגרת הנ"ל, ענין ההשתטחות לאדמו"ר האמצעי, מאמר מהצ"צ, מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר בענינים אלו וכן שו"ת מהרי"ל מיאנאוויטש בענין ביקור כהנים בהאדיטש, ובקונטרס זה באתי בהערות בהנוגע גם כן לאגה"ק הנ"ל אשר בהם ימצא מענה על שאלתו, וקשה עתיקא מחדתי לבוא פה עוד הפעם בהערות אלו, ובאם יתעכב ענין הדפסת הקונטרס הזה, אולי תהי' הזדמנות להעתיק הערותי לאגה"ק הנ"ל בשבילו למען הפיק רצונו...
