By the grace of Hashem,

Greetings and blessings,
I have indeed received your letter of Rosh Chodesh* Sivan and the two requests for blessing that were enclosed with it. I will read them, at a propitious moment, near the tziyun* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe.
Before your wedding,
1. You will set aside a certain sum for the engagement of your elder sister[1], and your fiancée will do the same, from her own money.
2. You will ask her forgiveness[2].
3. You will have a discreet wedding.
May Hashem grant that you build an eternal edifice, at a good and fruitful moment. It will be based on the Torah and the mitzvos*, as they are illuminated by Chassidus*.
With my blessing of mazel tov* and in anticipation of the good news of the engagement of your fiancée's sister,

בנועם קבלתי מכתבו מר"ח סיון עם שני פ"נ המוסג"ב, שאקראם - בל"נ - על הציון של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, בעת רצון. ובטח קודם החתונה, א) יפריש הוא וכן ב"ג תחי' [מ]ממונה היא, איזה סכום להוצאות שידוכין וחתונה של אחותו הבכירה, ב) יבקשו מחילה מאתה, ג) יעשו חתונתם בלי פרסום יתר, ויתן השי"ת שיהי' בנינם בנין עדי עד בשעה טובה ומוצלחת על יסודי התורה והמצוה מוארים בתורת החסידות.
