To the great Rav, Hashem-fearing chassid*, of multiple accomplishments, whose lips express wisdom, Rav E. E. HaCohen,[1]
I greet you and bless you,
You have surely received, in their time, the first two issues of Kovets Lubavitch.
In the column "answers and clarifications" of the third issue, we will treat the question that you raised about the contradiction between what the Chavas Daas says and the explanation of the Tanya.[2] This subject can be of great interest to all. We will also reply to the question of a Rav of Toronto.[3]
Replies will be brought, according to my humble opinion, to these questions, and I would have wished, according to the practice that has been adopted, to mention the name of the one who poses the question — that is, yours. There will result, for all, an encouragement to the study of chassidus*.

שתיהם עם מה שלפענ"ד תשובה עליהן. וברצוני כפי המנהג, שהי' מאז, להדפיס השאלה על שם שואלה היינו כת"ר. ויהי' עי"ז ג"כ זירוז לרבים לעסוק בדברי דא"ח.
