To the Rabbanit* Tamar,[1]

Blessings and greetings,

I duly received your letter of Sivan, which did not bear the indication of the day on which it was written. In it you describe your work at Beis Rivkah* of Kfar Chabad, which is, thank Hashem, fruitful, since this school already has thirty-eight students. You propose recruiting a teaching assistant who would be suitable for this position.

Of course, it is difficult to determine from here which teachers would be suitable for this position. The decision must be made on site. I will therefore underline only one general idea. One should seek out students who are capable, in a short time, of becoming teachers and educators, at least for the youngest. With the proper effort, you will surely succeed in finding them.

I have written to the management of the Kfar[2] to say that suitable premises must be found for Beis Rivkah*.[3] I have good hope that an effort will be made in this direction, to the fullest extent possible.

With my blessing of success for your sacred mission, which will also be the channel and the receptacle conveying and integrating the blessings of Hashem for your personal concerns, and with greetings to your husband, the Rav,

ברכה ושלום!

בנועם קבלתי מכתבה מסיון - בלי הוראת יום הכתיבה - בו כותבת ע"ד עבודתה בבית רבקה אשר בכפר חב"ד, ואשר ת"ל עשתה פירות ומספר התלמידות הגיע ל - 38, כן מצעת שיקחו ג"כ מורה-עוזרת... מתאימה לזה.

כמובן קשה מכאן, לאמר מי מהמורות מתאימה יותר, וע"ז צריכים להחליט על אתר, ובאתי לבזה רק בנקודה כללית, אשר כדאי הי' להשתדל ביותר אחר חיפוש נערות כאלו בתור תלמידות שיהיו ראויות במשך זמן לא ארוך להעשות מחנכות ומדריכות עכ"פ בשביל ילדים וילדות קטנים, ובטח במרץ המתאים יש למצוא גם כאלו.

כתבתי להנהלת הכפר, בדבר הנחיצות בדירה מתאימה בשביל הבית רבקה, ותקותי חזקה שישתדלו בזה ככל האפשרי.
