To the directors of Kfar Chabad,
may Hashem grant them long life,

Greetings and blessings,

A) I received your letter some time ago, and I received another one, by an indirect path (!), in which it is briefly explained to me that a loan is being offered to you for the construction of the vocational school of the Kfar. The conditions of this loan are not specified, no more than its duration.

It is unnecessary to remind you to what extent all this is important and must be carried out as quickly as possible, if you are sufficiently satisfied with the conditions offered, before someone else takes your place. I have good hope that you are occupying yourselves with this with the proper alacrity, and I await your good news.

B) I have heard that you have obtained, by some means, a subsidy of two hundred and fifty pounds, on account of Shemittah*.[1] You will kindly confirm this information for me and give me details concerning it.

C) I have learned with satisfaction that the Beis Rivkah* school of the Kfar is developing.[2] On this subject, its present location is not fully suitable. It is surely unnecessary to specify this to you, but one only counsels alacrity to those who possess this quality by nature.

You will therefore do everything in your power to allocate to the Beis Rivkah* school the place that suits it, in order to be able to increase the number of good students and, in addition, to add a class whose students, as one may hope, will rapidly become madrichot* and educators.

I await your good news in all these areas, and also concerning what I mentioned in my previous letter, in particular for increasing the number of those who settle in the Kfar.

שלום וברכה!

זה מזמן שקבלתי מכתבם. והנה הגיעני מכ' מן הצד (!) בו כותבים בקיצור אשר מציעים להם בתור הלואה (אינם כותבים פרטי התנאים בזה ולמשך איזה זמן) לבנין בית ספר מקצועי בהכפר.

למותר לעוררם על נחיצות הדבר בכלל, ועל ההקדם בזה, אם התנאים מתאימים הם לפ"ע, שלא יקדמם אחר בזה. וכן תקותי שמתעסקים בזה במרץ המתאים. ואחכה לבשו"ט.

ב) שמעתי שקבלו מאיזהו מקומן ר"ן ליטרות בתור תמיכה לשמיטה. ובטח יודיעוני עד"ז אם כנה השמועה והפרטים.

ג) שמחתי להודע, אשר בית הספר בית-רבקה בהכפר הולך ומתפתח. ובהתאם להנ"ל, הנה אין המקום העכשוי מתאים כ"כ. ואף שלמותר לעוררם ע"ז, אלא שאין מזרזין אלא למזורזין, אשר בטח יעשו בזה כפי יכולתם להקדיש להביה"ס בית-רבקה מקום מתאים שיוכלו להרבות גבולם בתלמידות מתאימות כדבעי, ולהוסיף ג"כ כתה שיש לקוות שתלמידותי' יוכלו להיות מדריכות ומחנכות במשך זמן לא ארוך.

המחכה לבשו"ט בהנ"ל, וגם במ"ש במכתבי הקודם, וביחוד מה שנעשה להגדיל מספר המתיישבים בהכפר.
