To the directors of Kollel* Chabad in the Holy Land,
may Hashem grant you long life,

Greetings and blessings,

A) The chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Yaakov Klibanov of Chicago, has informed us that his wife Vichna has departed this world. He is himself a member of Kollel* Chabad. The provisions of Kollel* Chabad for the deceased must therefore be applied to his wife. You will kindly confirm to me that you have done what was needed for her.

B) It seems to me that I have already acknowledged receipt to you of the three copies of Mishnas Yoel.[1]

C) Can you give me news of the state of health of the chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to the needs of the community, Rav Nachum Dov Denenberg?

D) I received some time ago a letter from the great Rav and chassid*, Rav Duber Eliezerov,[2] who told me that he had set with you the arrangement of the writings and manuscripts of the collection of the great Rav Ch. Y. L. E.,[3] for which you were to come to his aid. Since then, I have had no news.

It would be good to finish all this as quickly as possible, in order not to be forestalled by someone else.[4] One must invest the necessary and proper effort in order to have here the writings and manuscripts that are of interest, even if they must be returned afterward.

I thank you for informing me, in detail, about all this.

א) הוו"ח אי"א וכו' מוה"ר יעקב שי' קליבאנאוו משיקאגא, הודיע אשר זוגתו מרת וויכנא, שחל"ח, ובהיותו הוא חבר הכולל חב"ד, הנה זכוי' היא להתקנות דכ"ח בעד הנפטרים. ובבקשה להודיע לכאן ממילוי התקנות לזכותה ע"ה.

ב) כמדומה שכבר נתאשר קבלת שלשת הטופסים של הספר משנת יואל.

ג) בטח יודיעו טובות ממצב בריאות הוו"ח אי"א עוסק בצ"צ וכו' מוה"ר נחום דוב שי' דענבערג.

ד) זה מכבר נתקבל מכתב מהרה"ג והרה"ח וכו' מוה"ר דובער שי' אליעזרוב, שנתדבר אתם ע"ד סידור הכתבים וכתבי יד מעזבונו של הרה"ג הרשיל"א זצ"ל, שהם יעזרו בסידור הכתבים, ומאז לא שמעתי מאומה בזה. ונכון לתקן הדבר בעוד מועד, שלא יקדמנו אחר וכו' וכו'. ויש לעשות השתדלות האפשריות והמתאימה שיגיעו הכתבים וכ"י התוכנים כולם לכאן, עכ"פ ע"מ להחזיר. ות"ח על הידיעה מפורטת בכל הנ"ל.
