Greetings and blessings,
As I told you before your departure, it would be good for your visit to be marked by determination. This does not mean that one should push aside others, chas veshalom*. Nevertheless, your attitude must be determined. You must comment on the revealed part of Torah, on Chassidus*, devote yourself to communal activities, raise the morale of the students and also that of the teachers.
For you do not speak in your own name, and you are charged with encouraging the students and the teachers, to the fullest possible extent, to obtain the best result. You will therefore find the necessary determination in the holiness of your mission, in its great importance. It is clear that it must not be lacking when this mission is that of our leader, my father-in-law, the Rebbe.
Nevertheless, all this must take place calmly. One must not break the other, chas veshalom*, or diminish him.

... כמו שאמרתי לך קודם נסעך, הנה מהראוי שיהי' ביקורך באופן של "מיט א ברייטקייט", היינו לא ח"ו אראפווארפן יענעם, אלא שיהי' הסדר של ואתהלכה ברחבה, לדבר בנגלה ובחסידות ובעסקנות ציבורית והתעוררות בנוגע לרוח התלמידים וגם לרוח המורים וכו' וכו', כי אינך מדבר בשם עצמך, והכוונה היא לרומם את רוח התלמידים המורים וכו' ככל מה שאפשר לתועלת הענינים. ובמילא יכול אתה ללוות את הברייטקייט מקדושת הענינים וגודל ערכם, והרי זה פשוט דבעניני נשיאנו הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר דארף קיין ברייטקייט ניט פעלן, אלא כנ"ל שצריך להיות בנחת ולא על ידי שבירת הזולת ח"ו או בטולו...
