To my close relative, the distinguished Rav, chassid*
who fears Hashem, Rav Shlomo Yosef Chaim,[1]

Greetings and blessings,

I duly received, although with a little delay, your letter of Rosh Chodesh* Sivan. As you ask of me, I send you the pamphlet[2] published on the occasion of the festival of liberation of 12-13 Tammuz, which has just appeared.

It is unnecessary that I thank you once more for the stories you write to me, those that you have kept in mind concerning our holy Rebbeim. You will surely continue to do so in the future.

You mention the transcripts of the chassidic* discourses and sichos*[3] delivered here at the chassidic* gatherings. I have already written several times that the cow desires...[4] but what can I do? I am not at all master of my time, on account of my numerous occupations and the disappointments that each day brings.

Nevertheless, I have good hope that Hashem will grant success in time, and that a little of this time will permit accomplishing much. All this[5] will then occupy first priority.

קבלתי מכתבו מר"ח סיון - אף כי באחור זמן קצת - וכבקשתו הנה מוסג"פ הקו[נ] טרס לחג הגאולה י"ב וי"ג תמוז הבע"ל שהו"ל זה עתה.

ולמותר לכתוב עוה"פ ת"ח בעד הסיפורים שכותב מה שנשמר בזכרונו מרבוה"ק נשיאינו זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אשר בטח ימשיך בזה גם על להבא.

ומה שמעורר ע"ד רשימות המאמרים והשיחות בזמני ההתועדות כאן, הנה כבר כתבתי כ"פ שיותר ממה כו' רוצה להניק, אבל מה אעשה, ואני אין עתותיי בידי כלל לרוב הטרדות וגם העגמ"נ אשר כל יומא ויומא עביד עבידתי', ובכ"ז הרי תקותי במקומה עומדת שיתן השי"ת הצלחה בזמן שיהי' גם זמן מועט מחזיק את המרובה ויהי' מקום בראש גם להנ"ל...
