Greetings and blessings,

You must not be afraid[1] and, on the contrary, be sure that Hashem will permit you to have children. In order to follow the ways of nature, you will, in my opinion, consult Professor Zandek, who is a specialist in gynecology. You will inform him of all that has happened until now, and you will conform to his prescriptions.

He will be the emissary of Hashem[2], who will know how to determine the most appropriate prescriptions. And very soon, you will be able to announce to me good news. You will tell me that Hashem has positively granted the wishes of your heart.

You will also check whether, through the union with your wife, you have not offended a Jewess[3] or a Jew[4]. If such were the case, it would be necessary to present apologies to that person. Likewise, you will have the mezuzos of your home checked, so that they all be kosher. Your wife will give a few coins to tzedakah before lighting the candles on erev Shabbos and the festivals.

You yourself will reinforce the observance of the three studies that address themselves to each one, instituted by my father-in-law, the Rebbe—those of Chumash, Tehillim and Tanya, which are well known. Of course, you will adopt all this without making a vow of it.

With my blessing that you have children and in expectation of your good news,

... הנה בכלל אין ממה לפחד והשי"ת יתן שיתברכו בזחו"ק, ובדרך הטבע הנה לדעתי יבקרו אצל הפראפעסאר זאנדעק שהוא מומחה בעניני נשים ויספרו לו את כל מה שעשו עד עתה וכהוראתו יעשו ויתן השי"ת שיהי' הוא השליח להמציא להם ההוראות המתאימות ויבשרני טובות בקרוב שמלא השי"ת משאלות לבבם לטובה.

ויש לברר ג"כ אם בשעה שנשתדך עם זוגתו תחי' לא הי' בזה ענין של פגיעה בכבוד בת ישראל או בן ישראל אשר אז צריך לבקש מחילה, וכן צריך לבדוק המזוזות בביתו שיהיו כולם כשרות, וזוגתו תחי' תפריש קודם הדלקת הנרות בעש"ק וערב יו"ט איזה פרוטות לצדקה והוא יתחזק בשלשת השיעורים השוים לכל נפש מתקנת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע והם בחומש תהלים ותניא כידוע. - כמובן שכ"ז צ"ל בלי נדר -
