To the association of Chassidei Chabad in the Holy Land,

to whom Hashem will lend long life,

Greetings and blessings,

I would like to present to you a well-known communal leader, a chassid who fears Hashem, Mr. Yitzchok Elmaleh[1]. He is Sephardic, originating from Morocco, and is going to travel, on a visit, to the Holy Land, in order to settle an important problem, which concerns the Sephardic children coming from North Africa and settling in the Holy Land[2].

This man is one of the most important and most efficient leaders of the Sephardic community of Morocco. He is our friend and supports the Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch institutions which are found there. He is an honorable person, who has a good heart, is sensitive, multiplies benefactions. He acts, with all his strength, so that the children of Morocco receive a good education.

I ask you to reserve for him a good welcome and to grant him the honor that befits him, according to his personality and his character. You will come to his aid, in all the measure of your possibilities, in the important mission that he must assume. You will help him personally and you will involve your acquaintances, in every place that he will judge necessary.

בזה הנני להכיר לפניהם את העסקן המפורסם וו"ח אי"א וכו' הא' יצחק שי' אלמאליח, ספרדי, ממקורו, המתכונן לבקר באה"ק ת"ו בענין חשוב הנוגע לילדי הספרדים העולים מצפון אפריקה לאה"ק ת"ו.

העסקן הנ"ל הוא מחשובי וטובי עסקני הספרדים במרוקו, ומידידינו ותומכי המוסדות אהלי יוסף יצחק ליובאוויטש אשר שם, אדם נכבד, בעל לב ורגש ומדות טובות, מסור ונתון לחינוך הכשר של ילדי מרוקו וכו'.

ואבקשם לקבל את פניו בספ"י ובכבוד הראוי לפי מזגו ורוחו, ולעזור לו בענין החשוב ביותר הנ"ל ככל האפשר, הן מצדם והן בהכירות בכל מקום שצריך לו.
