To the distinguished chassid who fears Hashem and is generous,

Rav Chaim Yaakov[1],

Greetings and blessings,

I was pleased to have a telephone conversation with you and to be able to transmit to you personally my wishes. I formulated the wish that Hashem grant long days and good years, as well as good health. Indeed, you have undertaken to put into practice the immense mitzvah* which consists in building an edifice where a good education will be dispensed in the Holy Land.

Your contribution has already arrived here, and it has been transmitted in order to be used for the fixed objective. I therefore seize this occasion to reiterate yet again my brachah*, so that it be accomplished in an effective manner.

In fact, Yidden possess, in a potential manner, all the brachos*. But it is still necessary that these be realized. It is precisely with this purpose that the neshamah* descends here below, "from a high summit to a deep pit." Such is the case for all Yidden in general and for each one in particular.

Your tzedakah* has already been used in a positive and concrete manner. I therefore wish you that there be realized the celestial brachos* obtained thanks to this considerable mitzvah*, that you obtain long days, good years, good health, the satisfaction of all your needs, material and spiritual, for yourself, your wife, and all the members of your family.

In expectation of receiving your good news always and every day, wishing you to be inscribed and sealed for a good year, yourself, your wife, and the members of your family[2],
