To Mrs. Mushka, wife of the late

Rav Gershon Wolfsohn,

I bless you and greet you,

I duly received your letter, with the check which your husband left so that I transmit it to the tzedakah* of my choosing. It has been consecrated to the financing of our Oholei Yosef Yitzchok institutions, and you will please find enclosed a receipt.

These institutions, bearing the name of my father-in-law, carry out an action of the highest importance in different points of the globe — in our Holy Land, in Europe, in North Africa, and in Australia. They bring to Jewish children an education in conformity with Tradition and, often, a material aid when this is necessary. The merit of participating in this work is considerable.

You have knowledge of the generous actions of your husband for the benefit of the Lubavitch institutions. I am therefore certain that you will make use of your influence on your children to convince them to perpetuate the family tradition. They will thus maintain the channels by which Hashem will send them brachah* and success, longevity and satisfaction — a Jewish satisfaction — from their children.

הקדושה ת״ו ,באירופה ,צפון אפריקה ,אוסטרלי׳ וכוי .הם נותנים לילדי

ישראל ,בנים ובנות ,חינוך נאמן לתורה ולעתים קרובות גם עזרה חומרית,

במידת הצורך .את זכות ההשתתפות בעבודה זו אין לשער.

כיון שעבודתו הטובה של בעלה ע״ה למען מוסדות ליובאוויטש מוכרת

לה היטב ,הנני בטוח ,שתנצל את השפעתה על ילדיהם שיחיו ,להמשיך את

מסורת המשפחה ,ועל ידי זה להחזיק פתוחים את הצנורות שבאמצעותם

שולח הקב״ה ברכה והצלחה ,אריכות ימים ונחת ,נחת יהודי ,מהילדים שי׳.
