Greetings and blessings,

I respond to your letter of 5 Marcheshvan, by which you tell me that two other specialist doctors also advise the ablation of your eye or its replacement, total or at least partial, by a glass eye.

If this replacement is necessary, it is good that it be total. Nevertheless, you will consult these doctors also on this point and you will hold to what they tell you.

May Hashem grant that the operation go well, that you rapidly recover health and be able to pursue your attention, intensify your study of the revealed part of the Torah and of its hidden dimension. This will be the channel and the receptacle which will reveal and contain the blessings of Hashem in all the domains.

במענה על מכתבו מה' מ"ח, בו מודיע אשר חוות דעת עוד שני רופאים מומחים מייעצים להסיר את העין, ויש בזה שני אופנים, או להחליפה כולה בשל זכוכית או רק להחליף את האישון,

הנה לכאורה אם מוכרח החליפין טוב להחליף כולה, ובכ"ז גם בזה יתייעץ עם הרופאים הנ"ל וכהוראתם יעשה, והשי"ת יצליחו שיהי' הנתוח באופן טוב ויחזור לבריאותו בקרוב ויוכל לשגשג ולהוסיף אומץ בלימוד תורת הנגלה והחסידות, אשר זה ישמש ג"כ צנור וכלי להמשכת וקבלת ברכות השי"ת בכל.
