To the rav, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem

and devotes himself to communal needs,

Rav Nissan[1],

Greetings and blessings,

I have just received your letter informing me that you have arrived safely in Casablanca[2]. Hashem will grant you success in all the domains of your public activity. There will result from this an increased blessing and success in your personal preoccupations, as well as in those of the members of your family.

You will find the means to accomplish everything in a peaceful and pleasant manner. Such is the way of the Torah, of which it is said that "her ways are pleasant ways." Even more, Chassidus* explains that ahavas Yisrael*, ahavas haTorah*, and ahavas Hashem* form only one and the same entity.

I thank you in advance for the good news that you will soon send me.
