To my close relative, the distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem, scion of an illustrious family, Rav Shmuel Abba[1],
Greetings and blessings,
You write to me, in your letter, that you have in your possession a manuscript of the teachings of the tzaddik*, Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz. You are no doubt alluding to an unpublished manuscript. You no doubt know that Dr. Avraham Yehoshua Heschel, brother-in-law of the Kopyczynitzer Rebbe, is here and that he has been devoting himself, for some time now, to gathering the teachings of Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz.
You also raise, in your letter, the biography of the Rav of Koretz. You are surely alluding to the sefer* of Rav M. Y. Gutman[2], which he had personally sent to me, at the time.
May Hashem grant that each of us find his portion in the dissemination of the wellsprings of Chassidus*, the Torah* of life, even outward, and that we do so with broadness of mind.
I have just received your letter of 29/6.

כותב במכתבו אשר נמצא אצלו כת"י מתורת הרה"צ כו' וכו' הרב ר"פ מקארעץ ובודאי כוונתו לכתבי יד שעדיין לא נתפרסמו ובטח ידוע שהד"ר אברהם יהושע העשיל שי' הנמצא כאן, (גיסו של הרה"צ מקפי[שניטץ]) מתעסק בזה מזמן בקבוץ תורתו של הרה"צ הר"פ מקארעץ כן מזכיר במכתבו אודות תולדות הרב מקארעץ ובטח כוונתו לספרו של הרב מ. י. גוטמן שי' אשר בשעתו שלחו אלי.
והשי"ת יזכה את כאו"א מאתנו לעשות חלקו בהפצת המעיינות מעיינות תורת חיים - אפילו - חוצה, ולעשות את זה מתוך הרחבת הדעת.
