To the leaders of Kfar Chabad*,
may Hashem grant you long life,
Greetings and blessings,
I have duly received your letter of 25 Elul. Although this is not the time for writing letters, I respond to you as quickly as possible, your question being urgent.
You have posed the following question to me. Two locations are possible for the construction of the agricultural school and the vocational school of the Kfar[1], which can be situated near each other or be far apart. You ask me what I think of this.
If these two schools are in proximity to each other, I do not see, in the spiritual dimension, what could result from this that would be negative — quite the contrary. From a material standpoint, you will take counsel from those who are concerned with this project, and you will do what will allow you to develop these institutions and the Kfar in general.
May Hashem grant you success and may He enable you to begin very soon the construction of these buildings[2], in an effective manner and knowing success, material and spiritual.
With my blessing that you be definitively sealed for a good year,
[1] The previous volumes of the Rebbe's correspondence reported the various negotiations conducted regarding these schools during the years 5712 and 5713 (1952 and 1953).
[2] The construction did indeed take place in 5714. Several letters in this volume will return to this subject.

מאשר אני קבלת מכתבם מכ"ה אלול, ואף שאין הזמן גרמא לכתיבת מכתבים, הנה היות ששאלתם דחופה הנני עונה בהקדם.
תוכן שאלתם: באשר יש שתי אפשריות בהנוגע לקביעות מקום לבנין בית הספר לחקלאות ובית הספר למלאכה בהכפר, אם בסמיכות זה לזה או בריחוק מקום, ושואלים חוות דעתי בזה.
הנני אינני רואה חלק השלילה ברוחניות הדברים כשיהיו שני הבנינים סמוכים.
ואדרבה. ומצד הגשמי, הנה עליהם להתיעץ עם כל אלה המעונינים בדבר, ויעשו באופן שיעזור להתפתחות המוסדות ולהתפתחות הכפר. והשי"ת יצליחם. ויהי רצון אשר בעגלא דידן יגשו לבנין הבנינים הנ"ל בפועל ממש ושיהי' בהצלחה בגו"ר.
