Greetings and blessings,

You ask me whether one can teach children the letters and the vowel signs they know before they learn the entirety of these vowel signs.

This indeed has no importance, even though it seems easier to teach them, in a first stage, all the vowel signs at once, rather than to teach them only some, then to interrupt to give them other knowledge.

Nevertheless, it is, above all, a pedagogical question, which must therefore be settled in accordance with the talmidim* of the class and the manner in which they assimilate the notions taught to them.

...בנוגע לשאלתו אם אפשר ללמוד עם ילדים האותיות והנקודות הידועים להם מכבר קודם שיודעים את כל הנקודות. הנה אין קפידא בזה אף שלכאורה בקל יותר ללמדם כל הנקודות בהמשך אחד מאשר להפסיק באמצע בענינים אחרים, אבל זוהי שאלה חינוכית ויש לפותרה מתאים להתלמידים בכתה שלו ואופן קליטתם את הלימודים.
