To the great rav, distinguished chassid who fears Hashem, assuming
a sacred mission, Rav Mordechai Aharon[1],

Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter, in which you inform me that you have been entrusted with a teaching post at the Yeshivah Toras Emes[2].

May Hashem grant that your effort be crowned with success, that you instill love of Torah and a pure yiras Shamayim* in those who will receive your teaching, so that they may bless the One Who gives the Torah, in the present.

And, "just as then[3] one experienced fear, awe, trembling, and sweat, so will it be here." You will consult the Likkutei HaShas of the Arizal*, according to which these four terms correspond to the four letters of the Name of Hashem[4].

It can therefore be the same for each one, in every place and in every era, in the three dimensions of space, time, and soul, with "fear, awe, trembling, and sweat."

הנה יה"ר מהשי"ת שיראה פרי טוב בעמלו ויחדיר בשומעי לקחו חביבות התורה ע"י יראת שמים טהורה לברך נותן התורה נותן לשון הווה ומה להלן באימה ביראה ברתת ובזיעה (עיין בלקוטי הש"ס להאריז"ל שזה נגד ד' אותיות דשם הוי') אף כאן (בכל אחד בכל מקום ובכל זמן - עולם שנה נפש) באימה ביראה ברתת ובזיעה.
