To the rav, distinguished chassid who fears Hashem
and devotes himself to communal needs,
Rav Melech[1],

Greetings and blessings,

I have duly received your letter of erev Shabbos Toldos, as well as the previous ones. You evoke the mikveh* being built in your neighborhood. I was satisfied to learn that the Center for Family Purity of Yerushalayim, subsidizing you thanks to the collection effected, at my request, among the chassidim, has kept its word and has given a thousand pounds for this mikveh. Perhaps their contribution will be still larger, all the more since the amount collected by the chassidim exceeds what was paid to you.

Likewise, I am writing[2] to the association of Chabad chassidim in Eretz HaKodesh* to consent to a loan of one thousand pounds to you, which you will repay in a year. I have good hope that this request will be satisfied.

Hashem will give you success in this sacred mission and also in your action, within the yeshivah*, thanks to which you will obtain blessing and success in your personal preoccupations.

With my blessing for success for all those who participate in this sacred work[3],

מאשר הנני בזה קבלת מכתבו מעש"ק תולדות וכן הקודמים בם כותב אודות המקוה שמסדרים בשכונתם, ונהניתי אשר ע"י העזר שמרכז טהרת המשפחה בירושת"ו קבלו בהשתדלותי ממגבית אנ"ש שי', הנה גם קיימו הבטחתם ועזרו להמקוה שמסדר בסכום של אלף ליטרה ואולי יש מקום לקבל מהם עוד עזר ובפרט שהסכום שהגיע להם מאנ"ש בהשתדלותי הוא גדול מהנ"ל. וכן הנני כוב לאגו"ח באה"ק ת"ו שיתנו להם הלואה בסך אלף לירה לשלם במשך שנה ותקותי שימלאו בקשתי זו.

והשי"ת יצליחו בעבודתו בקדש הנ"ל וכן בעבודתו בהישיבה שבד"מ ישפיע זה גם ברכה והצלחה בעניניו הפרטיים.

בברכת הצלחה לכל המשתתפים בעבודה קדושה זו.
