Greetings and blessings,

I duly received your letter of 23 Teves, and I was pleased to learn that your date has been set for the day of the hilula* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us and who leads the generation.

This day is propitious so that all those who follow his way may know success in their communal preoccupations and therefore also in personal ones.

Please greet your friends in my name. No doubt they too study the teaching of my father-in-law, the Rebbe. They adopt his practices, and his holy merit therefore protects them, in this world and in the world to come. You will consult Iggeres HaKodesh, in Tanya*, ch. 27, with its commentary.

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מכ"ג טבת ונהניתי לקרות בו אשר נקבע יומו ליום ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע מנהיג הדור אשר יום סגולה הוא שכל ההולכים בעקבותיו מצליחים אז בענינים הכללים ובמילא גם בעניניהם הפרטים, ומטובו למסור פ"ש בשמי לחבריו שי' אשר בודאי גם הם לומדים תורת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר ושומרים הדרכותיו ובמילא זכותו הק' מגינה עליהם בזה ובבא, ועיין באגה"ק בתניא סי' כ"ז ובביאורו.
