By the grace of Hashem,
First day of Chol HaMoed Sukkot* 5707,
To the Chassid* who fears Hashem, student of the Yeshiva*, Rav Y. [1],

I greet and bless you,

Enclosed herewith you will find a letter to the committee of the various branches of Beth Rivkah* [2]. Kindly arrange for the response to reach me as quickly as possible, that it be clear and detailed, for each of the questions posed. Not one must remain without an answer.

I received a letter from your sister [3] and I did not understand what she wants. Does she wish Beth Rivkah to submit an application [4] on her behalf or not? If so, she must send us all the information and all the details pertaining to her.

I must emphasize that the outcome of such a step is not certain. This application would be the first of its kind and one may therefore ask whether it is the best way to proceed.

קבלתי מכתב מאחותו תחי' ולא מובן לי מה רצונה, אם בחפצה אשר הבית-רבקה יגישו בקשה עבורה או לאו, ואם הן, תשלח כל הידיעות והפרטים על אדותה. עלי להדגיש כי דרך זו אינה סלולה, ובקשה זו תהי' הראשונה במינה, ואשר ע"כ צ"ע אם דרך זו היא הכי טובה.
