Greetings and blessing,
You wrote to me about the boat. It turns out that its owners are Israeli. Therefore, even if those who work on it are not Jewish, the wide diffusion that is made (of the Israeli nationality of these boats) leads one to ask oneself really whether it is not a question of an Interdiction (of a transgression of Shabbos) instituted by the Torah or by our Sages. And, how much more is it so if the workers are Jewish.
You were told that everything is automatic. It is clear that this is not possible, as the professionals know (the Rebbe explains, moreover, that he himself is one of these professionals).
It is unpleasant to say more, for this is painful and even surprising, if one takes into account all the veils and the difficulties already imposed by the period of the heel of Mashiach*. From this fact, numerous are those who fear Hashem and put His Commandments into practice but do not pay attention to what is nevertheless an evidence. I will say no more.

מ"ש אודות האני'. הנה ה"ז ענין שבעלי' ישראלים במילא גם אם העובדים שם אינם יהודים וכיון שנעשה בפרסום גדול כ"כ צע"ג דאפשר הוא איסור דאורייתא או דרבנן עאכו"כ שהעובדים הם ישראלים, ומ"ש שאמרו שהכל נעשה אוטאמאטיש הנה בודאי אי אפשר הדבר וכידוע להשייכים למקצוע זה, והאריכות בדבר המכאיב אינה רצוי' ולפלא גם בהביא בחשבון העלמות והסתרים דעקבתא דמשיחא על שגם דבר פשוט כזה הרי כמה מהיראים וחרדים אינם שמים לב וד"ל.
