To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,
issued from an illustrious family, of multiple accomplishments,
Rav Matisyahu Yechezkel (Rav M. Y. Guttman),
Greetings and blessing,
I received the two copies of your book Oneg Shabbos, edited with the Bechorei Yechezkel on tractate Avos. At the issue of this collection, are also found explanations of Chassidus*, gathered in the sichos* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us.
It is a pity that you did not indicate the references for them, for the reader could have consulted the text, which, in a general manner, permits him to deepen the explanation developed.
May Hashem accord you success in order to assume your role in the diffusion of the light of the Torah and of its luminary (Chassidus*), within your surroundings, among your disciples, with broadness of mind.

מאשר הנני קבלתי ספרו ענג שבת בשני טופסים נכרך ביחד עם ספר בכורי יחזקאל על מס' אבות, ובסופו ג"כ דברי חסידות מלוקטים משיחות כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע (וחבל שלא הורה המקור למען יוכל הקורא לעיין על אתר שע"פ הרוב נמצא שם גם איזה ביאור נוסף) והשי"ת יצליחו למלאות חלקו בהפצת אור התורה ומאור שבתורה בסביבתו ובתוך מושפעיו מתוך הרחבת הדעת.
