Greetings and blessing,

I was satisfied to obtain news of you, as well as of the members of your family, through the intermediary of your wife. I am, above all, happy to observe that you have the merit of having children studying the Torah of Hashem, called Torah of life, which gives content to daily conduct.

Your children study Torah with ardor. If, at every epoch, parents had to assure themselves that their children study the Torah of Hashem, how much more must it be so, in our epoch, and with even more enthusiasm, especially in the United States.

Hashem directs the world. He satisfies the needs of the Jews and of all men, in general, for He alone can assure the subsistence of all. It is therefore quite clear that the fact of adopting a conduct conforming to the Will of the Creator, for example by consecrating one's children to the study of Torah, can in no manner diminish the means of assuring one's material subsistence.

On the contrary, by fortifying oneself and adopting a conduct strictly conforming to the Will of Hashem, even if difficulties seem to result therefrom, one merits that there be accomplished the promise of Hashem according to which "If you walk in My statutes, the earth will give its produce." Rashi explains that one "walks in the statutes" of Hashem by making an effort to study His Torah. This effort, indeed, is indispensable and, by virtue of it, "the earth gives its produce" and Hashem provides for needs, in the most ample manner.

I am certain that these few lines will suffice to fortify your bitachon* in Hashem and your desire to give a good education to your children, to strengthen them in the study of the Torah of Hashem.

May Hashem grant that you attain this in good health and in material opulence.

היום העשירי בשבט הוא יום השנה של כ״ק מו״ח אדמו״ר ,המנהל

של ישיבת ליובאוויטש הראשונה אשר )נוסדה ע״י אביו כ״ק אדמו״ר

)מהורש״ב( בליובאוויטש לפני 62שנים ,סהודות לו התפתחה גם

באמריקה לפני 19שנה.

וגם בישיבות ליובאוויטש באמריקה ,העמיד כ״ק מו״ח אדמו״ר את

האמור כמטרה:

בד בבד עם העמדת תלמידים גדולים בתורת הנגלה גדולים בתורת

החסידות -עיקר השליחות תהי׳ -העמדת תלמידים בעלי מסירת נפש

עבור אהבת השם ,אהבת התורה ואהבת ישראל -ודוקא באמצעות

מעשים בפועל .והצליח גם בכך -כפי שרואים זאת בתמימים בארבע

כנפות הארץ.

לאורו של יום ההילולא -יו״ד שבט -של מייסד מרכז הישיבות

תומכי-תמימים ליובאוויטש באמריקה ,בטח יעורר כל אחד ואחת

בעצמו כחות לתמוך במרכז הישיבות תומכי-תמימים ליובאוויטש

במידה הגדולה ביותר.

וע״י כך יזכה לברכות הא־לקיות ,אשר בעל ההילולא מעורר רחמים

רבים להמשיך לכל אחד ואחת הנוטלים חלק בתמיכת והרחבת המוסדות

הקדושים שיסד ,הם ובניהם ובנותיהם וכל אשר להם שליט״א.
