Greetings and blessing,

I reply to your letter of 5 Tammuz, in which you indicate to me what installation you seek. For the moment, it has not been possible to obtain it and you ask my opinion on the attitude that you must adopt, in the future, the manner of soliciting a post that suits you.

You doubtless know the organizations permitting one to obtain an honorable rabbinical post or a work of teacher. It is a question, for example, of the Rabbinical Union or of Torah and Tradition. You doubtless have acquaintances among the members of these organizations. These will be able to favor your request.

For all that, it seems to me that I have already told you, when you were here, that you must improve the situation of the place in which you find yourself. Now, lately, the spirituality there has suffered a degradation. During the war, when the combat becomes more and more fierce, it is vain to flee to a calm place. One must, on the contrary, bring the effort to bear where one finds oneself, in function of what has been deteriorated. You will understand what I mean.

May Hashem lead you on the way that is straight and good before Him, materially and spiritually at the same time.

קבלתי את מכתביו מיו״ד וז׳ מנ״א עם המצורף ,והשי״ת יזכהו
ויצליחו ,שלאחר ההתחלה הטובה יוכל להמשיך את הענין הלאה כפי
שדיברנו בעת היותו כאן.
וידוע מאמר רבותינו ז״ל ,שבשעה שאדם פותח את לבו לקב״ה
אפילו כחודו של מחט ,הקב״ה פותח את הדרכים של ברכה הצלחה
כפתחו של אולם שהי׳ בבית המקדש .ומבואר עוד בחסידות ענין פתחו
של אולם ,שכן לכל הפתחים בבית המקדש היו דלתות ,במילא הן היו
לפעמים פתוחות ולפעמים סגורות ,אבל לכניסה לאולם לא היתה דלת,
והיא היתה תמיד פתוחה לאלו שכבר עמדו בעזרה .וזוהי ההבטחה
מהקב״ה ,שכאשר עושים התחלה אפילו כחודו של מחט ,הברכה
והצלחה מהקב״ה פתוחה תמיד כפתחו של אולם.
את הקבלות ישלחו כשיתקבלו מהמשרדים המתאימים.
בברכה לאריכות ימים ושנים טובות לו ולזוגתו תחי׳ והם במהרה
ובזריזות ובשמחה ימשיכו את מילוי הבטחתם ומשאלות לבבם לטובה.
