To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs,

Greetings and blessing,

I received your letter of Rosh Chodesh and 14 Sivan, of the 5th and 12 Tammuz, with the request for blessing that it contained and of which I will give reading, in a propitious moment, near the holy tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us.

I was content to learn, from your letter, that you have a greater number of students. Doubtless you will be vigilant for the qualitative dimension, so that your school conserve the image that must be its own.

You inform me of the problems posed by the integration of the students from Midelt. I have difficulty giving my opinion, on this subject, since you write to me that you do not know the reason. But, in any state of cause, children of nine, ten, or eleven years must not be displaced from one city to another, for there are surely, in their city, classes that suit them.

Moreover, it was supposed that the school of Sefrou would be close to a Yeshivah and not to a Talmud Torah. This is only a hypothesis and nothing is decided. Indeed, I do not know the reasons. And, you tell me that it will be difficult to function in the framework of a Yeshivah, if a large part of the students are only eight, nine, or ten years old.

You write to me that double beds will soon be ready (for the students) and I do not know what you mean by that. If this signifies, in the literal sense, that it is a question of large beds, in which two children sleep together, this is particularly surprising and must be totally excluded. But, perhaps it is not in this way that one must interpret the expression "double beds."

You will tell me, in detail, how the Chassidic gathering of 12 Tammuz went. You will also specify to me whether there is one during the Shabbos that blesses the month. Is there a possibility of attaching oneself to the families, of course, without reducing the prestige of the local rabbi? One must be particularly attentive to this.

With my blessing so that you may soon announce to me good news, so that you know success in your sacred mission, which will reveal an increased blessing and success in your personal preoccupations and in those of the members of your family,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מר"ח וי"ד סיון ה' וי"ב תמוז עם הפ"נ המוסגר בו, שאקראהו בעת רצון על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.

נהניתי ממ"ש במכתבו שנתרבה מספר התלמידים בכמות, ובטח יעמוד על המשמר בהנוגע לאיכות, שיהי' להמוסד הציור הרצוי כפי הכוונה. ומ"ש אודות הספיקות שישנם בקבלת תלמדיים מהת"ת דמידלט, הנה קשה לי לחוות דיעה בזה, כיון שכותב במכ' שאינו יודע הטעמים והנמוקים. אבל בכ"א, לכאורה, אין מקום לטלטול תלמדים של גיל ט' י' י"א שנה מעיר אחת לחברתה, כיון שבודאי על אתר ישנן כתות מתאימות לתל' דגיל זה. ובפרט שכפי ההשערה אמרו, שהמוסד דספרו יהי' מעין ישיבה, ולא תלמוד תורה. וכנ"ל, שאין זה אלא בדרך סברא ולא החלטה, כיון שאיננו יודע פרטי הטעמים והסברות ולדידי' לכאורה קשה יהי' לשמור על הציור דישיבה, אם יהי' חלק חשוב של התלמידים בגיל ח' ט' י' וכו'.

כותב במכתבו הנ"ל, שבקרוב יוגמרו מטות כפולות, ואינני יודע כוונתו בזה. אבל אם הדבר כפשוטו, היינו ששנים ישנים במטה גדולה אחת - תמיה גדולה על זה. ודורש שלילה בהחלט... ואולי אין זה כוונתו במלת "כפולה".

בטח יודיע בפרטיות מהתועדות די"ב תמוז. כן אם סידר התועדות בש"ק מברכין.

וכן אם יש אפשריות לקישור עם בע"ב - אבל באופן שלא יהי' מקום כלל וכלל לחשש דמיעוט הדמות של הרב המקומי, שיש להזהר בזה ביותר.

בברכה שיוכל לבשר טובות... בקרוב, ויצליח בעבודתו בקודש, שבמילא ימשיך זה תוספת ברכה והצלחה בענינים הפרטים שלו ושל כל ב"ב - שיחיו.
