To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, the Rav Yehudah (Rav Y. Shmotkin; see, concerning him, letter no. 2890),

Greetings and blessing,

Here is the subject of the present letter. I have received, these days, the visit of Mr. Kol, who transmitted to me your gift, a manuscript leaf of the Rav E. Y. Rivlin (Rav Eliyahu Yosef Rivlin, of the Holy Land), who is, in all likelihood, the author of the Ohalei Yosef*, a disciple of the Alter Rebbe*.

Likewise, I receive today itself, from the Rav A. Pariz (Rav Avraham Pariz, of the Holy Land; see, concerning him, letter no. 2777), a manuscript pamphlet containing some responsa of the Tzemach Tzedek*, some of Rabbi Nechemiah of Dubrovna, and especially those of the Mitteler Rebbe*, bearing upon the laws of divorce (published by Kehot* editions in 5736/1976). This is, in any case, what is written on this pamphlet.

Would you be so kind as to inform me of the origin of these manuscripts and of what accompanies them. I thank you in advance.
