Igrot Kodesh · Letter 290 — Beth Sarah School Leadership and Rosh Hashana Discourse

By the grace of Hashem, 25 Elul 5707, To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav C. M. Kalmenson [1], I greet and bless you,

I received your letter concerning Beth Sarah* and you will find enclosed the response. You have surely taken over the direction of this institution [2]. We had indeed agreed that you would bear personal responsibility for it, even if, officially, you appointed another director.

You will find enclosed a Chassidic* discourse for Rosh Hashana*, which my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, transmitted in writing, so that it should reach the other continents as quickly as possible. You will arrange for the greatest number of people to be able to study it during these ten days of Teshuvah*. Please let me know what was done in this matter.

You will find enclosed a letter for Rav I. Goldin [3]. I thank you for transmitting it to him, as we do not know where he currently resides.

Please greet your father, as well as your family, and convey my blessing to them on the occasion of the new year.
