Greetings and blessing,

I reply to your letter.

The cause of the matter about which you write (presumably the repair of the sin of emitting seed in vain) is, very often, a failing in the holiness of speech (when one utters inappropriate or even forbidden words, such as gossip or slander), or else, frequently, a physical weakness, or again the necessity of checking or changing the tefillin* or the mezuzos*.

You will therefore repair all of this and you will redouble your ardor in the study of the revealed part of the Torah and of Chassidus*. You will pray with fervor and you will fulfill the mitzvos* in the best possible manner. Hashem will grant you success.
