Greetings and blessing,

You write to me that you are continuing your action to bring the youth closer to the Torah and to Jewish practice. I am pleased by this, but I am surprised that you say nothing about your participation in what should be your most important accomplishment: the development of the Yeshivah*, by all possible means, in all domains.

You must, first of all, multiply its students, those who study the entire day as well as those who devote only a few hours to this activity. You must increase the dimension of the Yeshivah* and of everything that concerns it, until it becomes the center of the city for everything concerning the purest Judaism, so that those who pray in the synagogue there also study the Torah each day.

Our holy masters say that "the continuation of the process is conditioned by what its beginning was." In this case, it is therefore particularly important that the beginning proceed in the best manner and broadly.

I am certain that these few lines will suffice to awaken in you and in the Chassidim*, in each of them personally, since you can disseminate these words among them, hidden forces and even potential forces that will effectively reveal themselves and will enable one to build the institutions of Chabad* in the country where you now find yourselves, until our righteous Mashiach* gathers the exiles of Israel from the four corners of the earth. Then, "one will no longer teach his fellow, for all will know Me."

נהניתי במ"ש שממשיך עבודתו בקירוב הנוער לתורה וליהדות בכלל. ולפלא שאינו מזכיר דבר אודות השתתפותו בהעבודה הכי ענקית להגדיל את ישיבת... בכל האופנים האפשרים ובכל הענינים, אשר לכל לראש הוא להשתדל להגדיל כמות התלמידים הן אותם הלומדים כל היום או רק איזה שעות ביום ולהעלות חשיבות ענין הישיבה ועניני' שתעשה מרכז העיר לעניני יהדות על טהרת הקדש היינו שמתפללי ביהכ"נ דשם ילמדו שם שיעורים קבועים בכל יום וכו' וכו',

וע"פ פתגם רבותינו הק' אז ווי מ'שטעלט זיך אוועק אזוי גייט דאס איז נוגע ביותר וביותר אז די התחלה זאל זיין בהידור ובהתפשטות.

און זיכער שגם שורותי אלה המעטות תספיקנה לעורר בו ובכל אנ"ש ובכאו"א מהם ביחוד - כי ברשותו לפרסם את הנ"ל בתוככי אנ"ש - כחות הנעלמים ואפילו כחות היולים שיבואו בפועל בבנין עניני חב"ד במדינתם עתה עד יבא משיח צדקנו ויקבץ את נדחי ישראל מארבע כנפות הארץ ולא ילמדו עוד איש את רעהו כי כולם ידעו אותי וגו'.
