To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, the Rav Nissan (Rav Nissan Nemanov, of the Yeshivah* of Brunoy, in the Paris region; see, concerning him, letter no. 2641),

Greetings and blessing,

I received with pleasure your letter of Thursday, in which you inform me that you will soon receive the visa for your journey (in order to spend the month of Tishrei* 5715-1954 with the Rebbe Shlita). I therefore await a favorable continuation, the effective obtainment of this visa.

In general, there is no reason to fear air travel. It suffices that the airplane be large and that it have four engines. The great Rav Hillel Pevsner has also received a visa. You will therefore arrange not to travel together. One will depart after the return of the other (so that there is permanently someone who can direct the Yeshivah*).

You have surely received my letter in which I reminded you once again of the merit and the responsibility incumbent upon you to multiply the number of students originating from Morocco (see, on this subject, letter no. 2824). This multiplication will also be qualitative. You are doubtless making all the necessary efforts in this direction. Obviously, your journey here must not cause a deficit in this domain.

I enclose a booklet on Elul*. You will doubtless disseminate it in the appropriate manner.

שלום וברכה!

שמחתי לקבלת מכתבו מיום ה' אשר ענין קבלת הוויזה לנסיעה הולך ומסתדר ואחכה להמשך בשו"ט בזה מקבלתה בפועל,

ובכלל אין לחשוש לנסיעה באווירון ובלבד שיהי' גדול היינו של ארבעה מאטארען, וכיון שגם הרה"ג כו' מוה"ר הלל שי' פעווזנר קבל וויזה בודאי יסדרו ביניהם שלא יסעו בבת אחת והאחד יחכה לחזרת רעהו.

בודאי קבל מכתבי בו עוררתיו עוה"פ ע"ד הזכות והאחריות בהגדלת כמות התלמידים דמרוקה והגדלת איכותם, ובודאי משתדלים בזה כלל הצורך, ומובן שכשיסע לכאן יסדר באופן שאל יחסר המזג.
