To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, the Rav Aharon (Rav A. Gopin, director of the Talmud Torah* of Kfar Chabad*),
Greetings and blessing,
I received with pleasure your letter of the luminous day of 18 Elul* (the birthday of the Baal Shem Tov* and of the Alter Rebbe*), in which you inform me that not only have the Yeshivah* and the Talmud Torah* of Safarya (the former name of Kfar Chabad*) been maintained, but even more, improvements have been made.
May Hashem cause that you develop, quantitatively and qualitatively, this holy institution. It is in this way that you will increase your resources. Indeed, Chassidus* specifies the difference between a limb and a receptacle. The latter merely contains what is placed in it, whereas the former attracts into itself what should be there. The greater the limb, the stronger this attraction.
In such a case, the effort is fruitful, even in a natural manner, for what must be revealed is already prepared on high. It therefore suffices to create the natural appearance.
You tell me about three students who are not suitable, due to their age, and it is therefore a question of transferring them to the Talmud Torah* of Lod. In this matter, you must all consult together and make a decision based on the specific circumstances of each student.
On the occasion of the new year, may Hashem cause your actions to know immense success, that your institution be in conformity with the will of our holy masters, whose merit will protect us.
On the occasion of the new year, which approaches, for us and for all Israel, for good and for blessing, I send my wishes to you, as well as to all of yours, that you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year, materially and spiritually.

שלום וברכה!
נעם לי לקבל מכתבו מיום הבהיר ח"י אלול בו כותב אשר לא לבד שהחזיקו הישיבה והת"ת בספריא במצבה אלא עוד הכניסו בהם שיפורים. ויה"ר שיגדילו המוסד הק' באיכות וגם בכמות, אשר זוהי הדרך גם לרבות ההכנסה הגשמית, וכמבואר בחסידות החילוק בין אבר לכלי אשר כלי רק מקבל הניתן לתוכו והאבר ג"כ ממשיכו ובמילא ככל אשר יגדל האבר תגדל גם המשכה שאז מועלת ההשתדלות גם בדרכי הטבע כיון שישנם הענינים כבר למעלה מן המוכן ואינו חסר אלא לבוש הטבע.
במ"ש אודות שלשת התלמידים שמצד גילם אינם מתאימים כו' ויש סברא
להעבירם לתו"ת בלוד, הרי בענינים כמו אלו עליהם להתייעץ יחד ולהחליט בהתאם להפרטים של כל תלמיד ותלמיד ביחוד.
ולקראת השנה החדשה הנה יה"ר מהשי"ת להמשיך בפעולותיהם הצלחה מופלגה שיהי' המוסד שלהם מתאים לכוונת רבוה"ק זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.
לקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לו ולכל אשר לו, ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות.
