To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, the Rav Yitzchak Note (Rav I. N. Niv; see, concerning him, letter no. 3349),
Greetings and blessing,
The father (Rav Menachem Mendel Nobikov) of the person you mention asks me whether he should settle in a place of Torah and fear of Hashem, as his wife wishes. This request is judicious, especially when it comes from a mother of a family, a mistress of the household. He Who provides for the needs of each person, granting food, clothing, and a home, will enable them to obtain what they need in this new place.
As a final point, which arouses the greatest interest, I thank you for this precious pearl — a story of the Rebbe Rashab* that appears in the testament of your father. This comes at the right time, since I received your letter on the eve of 20 Marcheshvan*, the date of the birth of the Rebbe Rashab*. And it is precisely said that "a thing is good when it comes at the right time."
I would be grateful if, as you indicate at the end of your letter, you would transmit to me the other stories found in the testament of your father. It would be good to indicate, for each of these stories, who related it and whether it involves the person to whom it happened, insofar as you have this information.

... בשאלת אבי הנ"ל אם יעתיק מושבו למקום תורה ויר"ש כדרישת זוגתו ובפרט שילידיו הם בגיל החינוך. הנה דרישה זו נכונה היא, ובפרט כשבאה מאם הבנים עקרת הבית, והזן ומפרנס לכל במזונות לבושים ובית ימציא להם הנצרך להם במקומם החדש.
ואחרון אחרון חביב, ת"ח על המרגניתא טבא סיפור מכ"ק אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב נ"ע שנמצא בצוואת אביו ז"ל, וכיוון את השעה שכן נתקבל מכתבו בערב כ' חשון הוא יום הולדת כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב, ודבר בעתו מה טוב. ות"ח אם, כסיומו במכתבו, יעתיק שארי הסיפורים הנמצאים בצוואת הנ"ל. ומה טוב שיורה בקשר לכל סיפור ממי שמעו אם מבעל העובדה בעצמו וכו' אם יש אצלו גם ידיעות אלו...
