A "rounded cup" (Shir HaShirim* 7:3) is a round receptacle, whose opening faces upward, in order to hide, to veil its content from the forces of evil. But the essential and fundamental aspect is indeed the central point (which contains, literally).
You will therefore be a "rounded cup" that will be "full of a fragrant beverage" (Shir HaShirim* 7:3) and you will establish the Halachah* without being subjected to pressure from secondary elements.
You will consult the Meorei Or, under the entry "rounded cup," which also cites the Yair Nativ on the holy Zohar* and the Zohar Chadash*. You will also consult the Pri Etz Chaim*, Gate of Prayer, chapter 5.
You will also see the Targum* on the verse Shir HaShirim* 7:2.
