To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, the Rav Avraham (Rav A. Pariz; see, concerning him, letter no. 2647),

Greetings and blessing,

I reply to your letters of 1 and 12 Marcheshvan*, which followed a long silence. You remark to me that I should be satisfied when people do not write, since this is the sign that everything is proceeding as usual. Nevertheless, the experience of recent years has unfortunately proven that this is not the case, and may Hashem cause that in the future it indeed be so, as you write.

You speak of the publication of the talks and Chassidic* discourses. I would need to devote much time to this (to edit them), which I do not have in any way. On the contrary, from time to time, new demands arise and, as I was saying previously, I now have one more concern, which is the following: news ought to be sent here without waiting to be asked for it, or, after having been invited to do so, without being content to provide only the broad outlines and to transmit the details through a roundabout way.

Consequently, my Chassidic* discourses and talks will not be published until I have reread the text. Nevertheless, this does not concern their publication in newspapers (see, on this subject, letter no. 2989) and translation into another language.

There surely exists a report of the meeting of the Chabad* women and girls that was held at Kfar Chabad*. Please send me a copy. I thank you in advance.

במענה על מכתביו מא' וי"ב מ"ח - לאחרי הדומי' הארוכה, מ"ש שלכאורה אם אין כותבים צריך הנני להיות שבע רצון שזהו סימן טוב שהכל בסדר הרגיל, הנה ע"פ נסיון דשנים האחרונות, לצערי ברובא דרובא, אין הענין כן, והלואי שמכאן ולהבא יהי' כמו שכותב...

מ"ש אודות הדפסת השיחות והמאמרים, הרי צריך אני להקדיש לזה כמה זמן, אשר איננו פנוי כלל וכלל. ואדרבה מזמן לזמן עוד נתוספות טרדות. וע"פ הנ"ל עוד טרדה חדשה שצריך להזכיר, שלפעמים צריך להודיע לכאן מהנעשה ולא לחכות עד שידרשו ואח"כ יודיעו רק נקודה כללית ושיודעו הפרטים מן הצד. - ולכן לא ידפיסו המאמרים והשיחות שלי, עד שאגי' אותם. ובמכ"ע והעתק לל' אחרת - שאני.

בודאי ישנו פרטי כל מאסיפת אגודת נשי ובנות חב"ד אשר בכפר חב"ד וישלח לי העתק ממנו. ות"ח מראש...
