Greetings and blessing,
I reply to your letter of 28 Cheshvan*, in which I still do not find the reason why, during all this time, you and your wife have not come to refresh yourselves.
It is unnecessary to complain about the past and I therefore wished only to identify the reasons or, more precisely, the obstacles and veils that are at the origin of such a situation. Thus, in the future, you will remember that you had the merit of being a student of the Yeshivah* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us. The strengths of the righteous, which are eternal, are therefore still within you.
You must use these strengths according to the will of our holy master, whose merit will protect us, in order to disseminate "the candle (which) is a Mitzvah* and the Torah (which) is a light," as well as the luminary of the Torah, which is the teaching of Chassidus*, its practices and its customs.
You will disseminate all of this in your home, in the literal sense as well as in the broader sense — that is, in your surroundings and in particular in the synagogue where you pray.
Obviously, your wife must adopt the same attitude, in the manner befitting a Chassidic* woman, the wife of a former student of the Yeshivah*. May Hashem cause you to carry out this mission successfully.

במענה על מכתבו מכ"ח חשון. הנה גם בו לא מצאתי מענה למה שכל הזמן הנה הן הוא והן זוגתו תחי' זיינען ניט געווען אפפרישען זיך.
וכיון שאין צועקין על העבר כוונתי בזה הוא רק לתקן שיסיר הסיבות או יותר נכון ההעלמות והסתרים שהביאו להנ"ל. ושמכאן ולהבא זכור יזכור שזכה להיות תלמיד בישיבת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע ובמילא גם בו נשקעו מכחות צדיקים הקיימים לעד. ועליו לנצל את הכחות האלו מתאים לכוונת נשיאנו הק' זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, היינו, להפצת נר מצוה ותורה אור ומאור שבתורה זוהי תורת החסידות הנהגותי' והדרכותי' בביתו ממש ובביתו במובן יותר רחב, היינו בכל סביבתו ובפרט בבית הכנסת בו מתפלל.
ומובן ג"כ שעל זוגתו תחי' לעשות בענינים כמו אלו באופן המתאים לבת חסיד ולאשת תמים. והשי"ת יזכם להצליח במילוי תפקידם זה.
