Greetings and blessing,

I have just received your letter of Tuesday of Parshas Toldos*, with what it contained. May Hashem grant you the merit and the success so that all the veils and all the obstacles disappear. Thus, you will have good morale, your good thoughts will be realized, and you will know success in your mission which consists, according to the proverb (see, on this subject, letters no. 2285, 2632, and 3076) of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us, in collecting material goods (for the institutions of Torah) and in sowing spirituality (among the donors). It has been emphasized many times that the one depends on the other, as this formulation itself underscores.

Thus, one can advance that not only does one collect material goods fruitfully to the extent that one sows spirituality, but also that the success of this spiritual action depends on the material goods that one reaps.

In the most simple sense, it is indeed in this way that one can draw people closer, that one supports the morale of those who need to be somewhat uplifted (to receive thanks, to be congratulated for their accomplishments), in order to be able to receive and integrate (the spiritual values that are transmitted to them).

No doubt you explain, when the occasion presents itself or even when you create it, that we are entering the month of Kislev*, that of liberation and miracles, and we are asked to pronounce a blessing "in those days, at this time" (at Chanukah*), still at the present time, for the equivalent unfolds each year, as various texts clearly establish.

With my blessing of success in all that has been said and with greetings to all the Chassidim*,

זה עתה קבלתי מכתבו מג' תולדות עם המוסגר בו. והשי"ת יזכה ויצליחו ויסורו כל ההעלמות וההסתרים ובמילא תהי' גם נאסטראיעניע ויבואו מחשבות הטובות לידי פועל ויצליח בשליחותו זו, וכפתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע קלייבען גשמיות און זייען רוחניות. וכמדובר כ"פ אשר מהנוסח משמע דהא בהא תליא.

ובמילא יש מקום לאמר שלא לבד שההצלחה ב'קלייבען גשמיות תלוי אין זייען רוחניות, אלא שגם לאידך גיסא הצלחת הזריעה דרוחניות תלוי בחלק הראשון. ומובן גם ע"פ פשוט כי זהו מהענינים המקרבים איש לרעהו ונותנים הרמת הרוח למי שצריך להיות מקבל עכ"פ שמינית דשמינית בהנוגע לקבלה וקליטה.

בודאי מסביר בהזדמנויות המצויות וגם אלו שמחפש שנכנסים אנו בחדש כסלו חדש הגאולה והנסים ונצטווינו לברך בימים ההם בזמן הזה גם עתה כי מעין זה מתחדש בכל שנה ושנה וכמבואר בכ"מ באר היטב.
