You ask me how to fulfill the Mitzvah* (see, on this subject, letter no. 3331) of conjugal union with one's wife, since you are not... (inclined to seek the fulfillment of this Mitzvah*).

I am surprised that you could pose such a question. This is at once an obligation of the husband (toward his wife) and a Mitzvah*. You will also consult the Torah Or*, Megillas Esther*, page 92b.

When you do all of this, you will confirm to me that peace reigns within the walls of your home. I hope you will give me good news on this subject, especially if you make an effort in this matter.

Great is peace, which is the receptacle containing the blessing of Hashem. This blessing makes it possible to complete what is lacking and to repair what must be repaired.
