To our friend, remarkable young man, Rabbi Menachem Zeev Gringlass, Montreal,

I greet you and bless you,

1) As per your request, enclosed you will find a transfer and the letter that accompanies it.

2) I have received, through the intermediary of Rabbi N.K., ten Canadian dollars.

3) Rabbi Nachum Dov Ber Denberg has sent me six dollars for the Sefer Torah!! It is clear that this is not sufficient. I therefore remind you of what I said on this matter in my previous letter, emphasizing the importance of convincing him, as well as other people along with him.

4) It would be good to publicize through the press, according to the specific conditions of your city, the release of the calendar.
