I am surprised that you do not specify that the students are indeed being taught the laws necessary for daily existence (see the preceding letter), according to their level.
Obviously, one must begin with the most common laws (in the preceding letter, the Rebbe mentioned the laws of blessings; see also letter no. 3091). One must also learn the laws of a festival before it arrives.
No doubt, the lack is only in your letter and not in the actual practice (this teaching is indeed being given, even though it was not mentioned in the letter).

...הנה לפלא שאין מזכיר שלומדים עם התלמידים הלכות הצריכות בחיי היום יומים מתאים להשגתם. ומובן שיש להתחיל באותן ההלכות שפוגעים בהם לעתים תכופות ביותר ולפני החג בהלכות החג, ובטח אין זה אלא חסרון בכתיבה אבל לא בפועל.
