and devotes himself to communal needs,

Greetings and blessing,
I received with pleasure your second letter, in which you continue the account of your memoirs. You had the merit of seeing the Rebbe Rashab*, father of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us.
These memories can assuredly awaken the Jewish heart, which is always attentive. And discernment is revealed in the heart, in order to reveal all of this in daily life — in thoughts, words and actions, for oneself and for one's surroundings.
As you request, I will mention your name near the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us.
To connect with what is current, I send you herewith a brochure for 19 Kislev*, whose content you will surely make available to the greatest number.

P.S.: The name of my father is Levi Yitzchak, son of Baruch Shneur. He is a direct descendant of the Tzemach Tzedek* (the Rebbe specifies: "son after son").

נעם לי לקבל מכתבו השני בו ממשיך בזכרונותיו ושזכה לראות את כ"ק אדמו"ר (מוהרש"ב) אביו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר - זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע. ובודאי זכרונות אלו מביאים להתעוררות לב ישראל אשר תמיד ער הוא ובינה לבא להמשיך זה בחיי היום יומים במחשבה דבור ומעשה בנוגע לעצמו ובנוגע לסביבתו.
כבקשתו אזכירו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.
