Greetings and blessing,

I have duly received your letters of 22 and 28 Kislev*, with their enclosures. In the future, you will describe to me everything that takes place in the most precise manner.

I was pleased to learn that the Rav of Sefrou asked for Chassidus* books and that you sent them to Rav Dan Cohen. You did well not to be exacting in this matter (presumably regarding payment). Indeed, the only thing that matters is that the wellsprings (of Chassidus*) be disseminated outward. Obviously, if books published by Kehot* editions are needed for your work, you will make this known here and they will be sent to you.

I am surprised that you do not tell me that articles are being printed, at the appropriate times and on the appropriate subjects, in the newspapers of your country. The month of Kislev* offers several opportunities for this. You will surely do so in the future and send the clippings here.

You have surely distributed the Chanukah* money as I asked you (see letter no. 3123). You will send me the list of those who received it.

Obviously, I was not alluding (in letter no. 3083) specifically to the abridged Shulchan Aruch*, but rather to all the most common works that present the laws in a concise manner.

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתביו מכ"ב וכ"ח כסלו עם המוסגר בהם. ובודאי להבא יודיע בפרטיות המתאימה ע"ד כל הענינים.

נהניתי ממ"ש שהרב שי' מצפרו בקש ספרי חסידות, וכן אשר שלח כהנ"ל לר' דן שי' כהן. וטוב עשה שאינו מדקדק כ"כ ובלבד שיקוים הענין דהפצת המעינות חוצה, ובודאי אם נצרכים לעבודתו מספרי הוצאת קה"ת יודיע לכאן וימלאו בקשתו.

לפלא שאינו מזכיר דבר שמדפיסים במכ"ע במדינתם קטעים - בזמנים המתאימים וע"ד ענינים המתאימים, והרי חדש כסלו ישנו בו כמה הזדמנויות לזה. ועכ"פ בטח ימלאו להבא, וישלחו לכאן ג"כ הקטעים.

בטח חלק דמי חנוכה כבקשתי וישלח רשימת המקבלים.

מובן שאין כוונתי בדוקא להספ' קצשו"ע, אלא לקיצור דינים דהשו"ע מהשכיחים ביותר.
